00VI, Dosnt start unless I tap the gas.

So i completed the 00vi swap about a month or more ago. But i have been starting my car with the need to slightly rev the car so the rpms dont fall back down too low and turn off. after that the car idles perfect. I dont have iacv and have a blockoffplate on the 5th gen TB, but that shouldnt be the problem. i have the TB slightly open to idle like most people do with the lil screw. The TPS is pretty close to spec at about 440ohms(closed ofcourse). My question is, can this turning off problem be due to a leak even though i cant find any. Something tells me its the tps but tps seems fine. Any suggestions?

i doubt a leak is your problem. if anything, a leak causes too high rpm.
my guess would be because you don't have IACV.

its better to reinstall your 4th gen iacv lots of guys on the org have this problem, make an adapter plate and other parts so it can run properly some guys use the throttle body stop screw to adjust the idle speed, which is not good because it throws off the throttle position sensor
