Need your precious advice on 00VI

According to this website, http://vqpower.com/gtrmax/00VI/
there are 8 possible ways to set up the 00VI. What I want to know is that, are there any power differences in between using lets say just the upper manifold from a 00 and a EGR guide tube, as compared to using the 00 lower, upper, 00 fuel rail and injectors, 00 TB, 00 IACV (the majority of the parts from a 00). How do these two setups compare in power gained? Also I'm pretty sure it has something to do with installation difficultly.
Help me out, Please.
Thanks

Your questions can't be answered because none of them have been tested as such.
IMO.
If there are any gains using x method over y method, the gains will be minimal.

Do you know offhand, if I install just the 00 upper with the EGR guide tube, would I get the "advertised" 30HP ?

Get your facts straight.

1,) The 00VI does NOT add PEAK 30whp/hp
2,) It WILL add 40+WHP @ 6500, but not peak, if you have no clue what I'm talking about,

ok, and that is mostly due to the UPPER manifold, right?

well know that when using the 00upper, the holes will align up pefectly onto a 00lower. but if you use an 00upper and your 4th gen lower, the holes may not line up as they should, which would disrupt the air flow.

what do u mean, it MAY not align, so theres a chance it wouldn't? Aren't all of them manufactured the same? Hasn't it been proven already?

I used the 4th gen lower because i'm cheap but i don't mind taking my time and doing some careful drilling, tapping, aligning, port-matching, etc... I saved money but added hassle. I also knew it would be a while before i could do an A/F tune. Using the 5th gen injectors may have caused a richer tune in the meantime and possibly less power (untuned). I'm very happy with my results, car is smoother, as torquey, and pulls hard into the rev limiter.

It took some creativity on the port-matching, i drilled out the brass inserts (PITA), and narrowed some M8X140 bolts by removing most of the threads except for an inch at the bottom (for the center 2 bolts, retaining the 4th gen M8 threaded holes in the lower). This way i could move the upper over to the right about 3/16" for a perfect port alignment.

In the end, just pick your method, do your research, and do it right. probably the most power variation will be from how good of a job you do versus which method you use.

Since you used the 4th lower, what did you do about the IAC? I tried using the 4th lower and after I got everything installed, the car wouldn't idle. It would go from 1500 to 2500 back and forth. I tried the 4th and 5th IAC with the same result. Any idea?
