3.5 oil cooler line is bend

3.5 oil cooler line is bend

The engine is ready to be put back inside but there are few things that are still holding me back and this is one of them, the line which goes from the oil cooler to the thermostat assembly is bend and it really sux that I just realized that but too late now I have a question is there any way I can get another line I’ve called the nissan dealer they wan 47.50 for it for that little metal line, I’m just thinking of just going to home depot and picking one up there any suggestions or does any one have it

That coolant pipe is $20.26 at pinnacle nissan.

It is much cheaper to use a piece of hose.

u know the metal line that runs along the buttom and makes a 90 degree turn to go to the hose which goes up to the actual termostat assy

Use a hose it will be alot easier in the end. The hose will bend in any shape.

Sorry to dig up an old thread, but that metal pipe burst on me and I was wondering if I were to bypass that pipe what size pipe would it be? and if there are any disadvantages to using just regular hoses?
