3.5 Swap....

Is there anyone that could help me in Houston to do a complete 3.5 swap? I know only a few people have done it but hoping I could get some help here.

Stephen Max is extremely busy recently; got some kinda promotion at work. He's in Austin.

If you really can't come up with anyone locally, You can come down to Baton Rouge to do it. My mechanics, Nick, has done 2 so far, very successfully. Mine's about to get done, too. And mine's got a whole bunch of snit on it. He had also done a full Turbo 300Z swap with internal works done to it. So let me know if you need help. By the way, you'd need to get your own 3.5 motor and parts before we can negotiate terms. His labor for this complete job will be in the ballpark of 1500 dollars. If you can't have anyone to do it, and you must have it done, he may be your last and closes resort besides Stephen Max. This guy has done plenty of Nissan's, especially 3-4th gen Maxima's.

Stephen has not done a full 3.5 swap, other than the ecu, engine harness, engine, what else would I need?

Good luck should you go ahead with a "full" swap...I've heard nothing but nightmares can/will arise when attempting it.

A whole front clip.

You might as well have a rear ended 5.5 gen, or else you're going to get stuck at some point. PM Vsamoylov or eng92. They have VTC's retained on their swaps.

Sorry, but I didn't read clear to see the catch. Well, in this case. I wish you good luck. I can vouch, unless you find a performance shop that knows what they're doing, you will not find one who will do a "full" swap for you. If you like the full 3.5 that much, you will spend a long time on this thing doing it yourself. If you hire people to do it, I wouldn't see it done without lot's of cash being paid. If you're gonna pitch that much money, you might as well get the whole car. I'm an engineer in a top notch electronics-based company, and trust me, when it comes to messing with bundles of wires, it's not worth the trouble. So, good luck again. My guy down here wouldn't do this for under $6k; and he's not looking forward to do one. He rather fix 50 cars than doing that "full" swap.

I don't know of any "full" 3.5 or 3.5 4th gens in Houston aside from me.

If you opt for 4th gen ECU powered VQ35, let me know. I have the shop to do the work, but don't have the time to get everything for you. Get you a Tilley/Stephen Max prepped engine, injector harness, TB, AFPR, vacuum lines, and basically everything needed for the swap, then shoot me a PM.

If you go for the "full" 3.5, let me know when its done, I'd like to see it.

They both did the full swap in 2 completely different ways.
