Dowel Pins

Hey i'm about to redo my swap with my new a different vq35 and i'm wondering what other bolts/rods can i use as a dowel pin for the cams? Can i just go to homedepot and buy one of those long bolt rods and cut it down to whatever length i need? thanks!!!

Got a new motor because other motor roll down a flight of stairs and hit a concrete floor and now has got oil surging into cylinder 5 :-(

you got a pm. i already got the cams drilled and bought the spacers way back then so doesn't make sense to go out and spend extra money on getting adapters
