REF 3.5 or 3.0

Doing the 3.5 swap and wondering if you have to use the 3.5 REF sensor or 3.0 with the 3.5 oil pan?

There is no 3.5 CPS (REF) so you'll have to use the 3.0 sensor.

Backfiring, starts sputters then dies, knocking, and I can hear it through the intake. I pulled the timing case of and it was off.
