Quick question about VK56

Would it be possible to destroke a VK56 using a VH41 crank?

VK56 bore=98 mm stroke=92 mm (same as VQ40)

Thus the 5.6 cant rev very high. But the VH and VK are the same block, right?

VH41 bore=93 mm (same as VQ30) stroke=76 mm

Wouldnt a VH41 crank in a VK56 result in some sort of high revving 4.6L? I mean 76 mm stroke is SHORT, almost as short as a VQ30, so it could theorically rev to 7500-8000. The new 415 hp Porsche flat 6 revs to 8400 stock on a 76 mm stroke.

Im not gonna do it, but it could work, right? Using a full VK56 minus the crank gives you better heads, Ti valves, bolt pattern can accept a 6-speed.

It could also work with a VK45 crank, but with the 98 mm bore it would give you 5.0 liters flat of displacement with the (still pretty short) 82.7 mm stroke.

I doubt the bore spacing is the same.

VK56 bore=98 mm stroke=92 mm (same as VQ40)

Says who?
