I installed a s-afc2 in my car 2 weeks ago. We got the knock sensor rpm readings set at 12 at idle, 15 at 3500. After some hard ''hot'' runs, the knock readings at 6200 got up to 117!!! Is it a lot or normal. I don't feel any performance loss and no noises from the engine. Is the knock sensor dead or alive??? I use 91 octane.

 

The knock signal on the SAFCII is erroneous to us.
