Yeah the problem is solved. I still have no IACV. My high idle was because the throttle cable was too tight, although i was sure that it was ok. I adjusted the idle screw and now everything is ok. Only thing that i need to do is hold the gas for like 5 seconds on cold starts, and then the idle catches on and everything's perfect from there. No need for an IACV. The 'misfire' sound was because i used an old gasket. The silicone sealed it up and its been holding up so far, although i have new feltpro gaskets on order. I got my RPM switch hooked up.

I'm still running no pcv becasue i can't find any valve that will fit under the upper manifold, anybody have suggestions? Am i hurting my engine in any way by not running PCV? I'm guessing no but just to be on the safe side, thought i'd ask.

Got the RPM switch hooked up and working now, after fixing the vias cup with jbweld. I really don't like the JB weld fix, seems like it's not permanent.

Ordering a vafc2 this friday, and a innovate lc-1 in 2 more weeks. After that i'm done with engine mods for a while.

Thanks for the help guys, i'm open to any questions of future swappers. I've been to hell and back figuring out the misfire problem, and i'd be glad to help anybody who's having issues.
