setup
2001 nissan maxima motor
00vi port matched to 70mm pftb
intake
warpspeed ypipe
magnaflow catalyst conveter
unorthodox underdrive pulley
act 6puck clutch
i did a compression test and it falls in spec with the book....
i dont know why my car is so slow
my fren has a 1993 integra ls with intake and he pulls me ....thats how slow my car is....

don't forget you'll want a RPM window switch for the 00vi to open. I don't know how much that would hurt you with it being closed all the time (it's not terrible at lower rpms with a MEVI, little worse than the USIM, but not terrible).

well i took out whe butterfly....it runs faster with it out...but i still loss....need advice on what to do....
i also got a 3.5 motor but dont have the cams redrilled....i can put the 3.0l cams but i dont have a adapter for the pftb to go on the 3.5 manifold...
unless
i can use the 3.5 bottom with the 3.0 heads and my 00vi with the pftb....
its alot of work but i can do it...i dont wanna rush into dropping the 3.5 till i get the cams drilled because i ordered cam spacers from TILLEYS99 last april of 06 and still didnt recieve it and tried to dispute it and i couldnt because i waited to long....but if i was to run the 3.5 i want the 3.5 cams....

You need something to open the VI up. Also, with the DEK injectors your going to be running a little rich. With out a tune you are probably right about the car feeling slugish.

Larger MAF sensor housing for a very raw leaning affect. But you would want to monitor the reading (AFR) to stay safe.

Pony up, get a wbo2 & piggyback.

Tuning is fairly simple. You first want to get a wideband that can provide datalogging. When you upload the information you will see A/F for a particular rpm. Than you go to your piggy back...lets say a VAFC-II. You want to tune 13.0 to 13.2 for NA. Now the way to tune on a VAFC is you go negative to lean it out and go positive when you want to add fuel. You will understand when you get it.

not to take business away from tilley but 95naSTA is selling cam spacers. He made a whole thread and it didn't seem like too many people were interested so i assume he has a couple sets left. Pm him for more info.

If I were you, I'd get very familiar with the FSM as well as the stickys on top of this forum page. Also, just because you 'lose' on the street to a certain car, doesn't mean you're slow and something is wrong. You need tog et your hands on some 'tools'. Whether it be a 1/4 mile track, a dyno, or data logging software. With any one or combination of tools, you can pinpoint a problem if there is indeed one.

WBo2 sensor = wideband o2 sensor.
Seems as if you need to reread the stickys, you seem to need to brush up on a few items.
