any ideas...

me and my buddy installed my sfacII today, i believe we got the correct diagram (jimes) and hooked everything up the way its suposed to be...one problem. its a used unit, bought it off an orger. green light comes on in the circular dial but nothing showing on the screen. did we wire something wrong or is the screen shot, or am i missing something here?

Make sure you wired it with respect to the ECU side, and not the harness connector side.

if you could elaborate on this it would be good. i watched the install but i dont know much about wirring.

soldered and electricked everything. i guess ill go back in there

jimes diagram for the 02 is the same as the 03 im assuming.

I don't know if you get it now or not, but, he meant that make sure you're looking at the wiring the way it goes into the ECU (in other words, look at the ECU pins and find the wire that ultimately goes to that pin) rather than looking at the plug. If you look at the plug, everything will be backwards.

yea i looked at the pin and followed the wire back from there b4 splicing into it. i figured out the problem. its a wiring issue. i didnt have directions and misswired something. aparently your supossed to cut a wire and link the harness up to both ends of the cut wire. buddy of mine encountered the same issue.

Are you referring to the GND, or the MAF? I'm guessing the GND issue (tap 10mm apart)

ahh so you dont have to cut it just tap into it in two diff spots 10 mm apart or more...thanks

Don't cut the ECM GND, just tap/solder the ECM GND to the 2 SAFC GND's 10mm apart. If that's what you meant, yes.
