Problem...during my swap help..

alright guys....not a huge deal, but yesterday, my car should have been done but i ran into a problem....
leaking coolant!
towards the front of the engine, (passenger side) there's a small elbow connected to the coolant pipe that runs across the front of the engine into the motor.
i started filling up coolant and it started dripping from the bottom bolt.
So i put a gasket from the 3.0 motor which the 3.5 did not come with and put it together, but it still leaked!
so i decided to put the 3.0 elbow with the gasket, and it still leaked....
im starting to guess that the leak may possibly be coming from the thread of the motor itself and leaking through the bold..... is that possible?
is there anything out there that can be used to stop leaking?
any info will be appreciated....
this leak is pretty, much the last thing i need to do to fire up my car.....

Those elbows are pretty brittle, maybe it's cracked? Man if that's all you're waiting on and you really think it's coming through the threads of the bolt what do you have to lose gooping the crap out of that bolt, try rtv, the jb-weld that comes in a stick if it came down to it, whatever it takes, you're that close!

haha thanks KRRZ350, i did some crazystuff today to hold that thing in place... i would explain it but it'll be too complicated...
i did use some jb-weld on it, and i hope that it does not crack.
someone told me that welding that thing shut might not be a good idea.
since its used by electricity it might mess up the motor. true? or false?

true, I'd have to agree with them that it's a safe call not welding it, whenever welding something on a car it's best to pull the ecu & make sure that you have the cleanest most rock solid ground for the welder as close to what's being welded as possible, not that exhaust shops remove the ecu, but when you're dealing with something on the engine you're very close to lots of sensors etc.
