Looks very expensive, do you just need to monitor AF? If so that seems like an overkill.

What are you trying to accomplish? There may be a cheaper and better alternative.

For $467, I'd look at the competition....Innovate, PLX, Zetronix, AEM, FJO etc etc. I spent less than that, and have a gauge, and a RPM converter.

The only place I see this company is the back pages of magazines. Whenever I read a write-up in the magazine to see what components they have in thier car, this is not one of them. I have yet to see it in a featured car. (Doesn't mean it's garbage though)

Seems like a big waste of $$. Isn't Zetronix model work good in the max? Or was it the Innovate that most guys use? Now I forget.

They use both. I personally use Innovate LC-1 because I have no need for an external gauge or any other features because of my EU.

So the Zetronix is more for use with the V-afc 2? I need a screen with mine so I can tune with it and the v-afc 2. Good to know.

True, but it does not datalog internally and no output to connect to a laptop for datalogging either. It's not safe or pratical to be watching your display, and looking at your RPM's while driving to then later tune with the VAFC. IMO, the best way is to datalog..tune..datalog..tune..datalog..tune etc etc.
