Quick Question Regarding Cams

OK, I'm looking into getting Nismo R-Tune Cams, but cant seem to find them for 2002-2003 Maxima, or any maxima for that matter. Does anyone know where I would be able to get them? Another question is would a 350z Nismo R-Tune Cam work, or even 240sx?

The 350Z R-tune will work on all VQ35DE's except for rev-up 350Z motors.

There is no way possible you could use 4-cylinder cams in a V6.

Yup. Are those the only cams you're looking at? Considered any others?

Well, i'm looking for cams where I dont really have to worry about. Seeing as this is still my daily driver, I was told Nismo R- Tune Cams would be good. What other cams would be good? Right now im laughing at the price for the Nismo R - Cams, but then again they are NISMO. Pricey stuff behind that name

What do you think about Tomei? Opinions welcomed

the my350z.com has cams and stuff for cheap. might be weary of buying an expensive piece like that from the forum, but thats where i got mine. i got mine for $600 shipped.

tomei is expensive as ****. also, i believe there are diff. version of the cams. the price makes it not worth it..

btw, dont ask me about performance of the cams because i haven't installed them yet and its gonna be a while. gotta get headers, valvesprings, and emanage so i can put everything inat the same time.

Gotta pay to play. Tomei is one of the best cam grinders in Japan.

Check for USED cams on my350z.com. Cams dont wear out really unless the previous guy dropped them fourteen times. I got the nismo cams for 680$ shipped with the 80$ cam spacers for 3.5 swaps.

thats true. but isn't it something like a PAIR (1 intake 1 exhaust) is like a $1k?????

if i could afford that, i would probably get it. but $600 for nismo cams isn't bad.

or u can look into debuloz cams on ebay, you should consider getting rod bolts becuz those r more important 4 a built 3.5 motor than valvesprings
