Where else to get Crank POS Harness?
Well my 3.5 motor came with the CPS sensor but no harness. I went to the dealership thinking that I could just buy the harness but they tell me its part of the main harness and that they dont sell it separately? I was like WTF. SO now I have the 3.5 motor with the oil pan and sensor all ready to go. Where else can I get a harness at? Junk yard?

Alternately, you can make one if you have access to a junk yard, and it's not super inconvenient for you (or you want to save 31.00). Any 02+ Sentra with a QR25DE, has 2 CPS plugs (per engine). You can use that plug, plus the plug from a dead secondary o2 sensor to build a plug/play harness.
Of course, you could just find one from a dead maxima, or buy one for 31.00 from the dealer..

I'm pretty sure he wants to use the 3.5 CPS so he's going to use the 3.5 connector to plug into the sensor and splice the 3.0 connector in to make it plug and play into the wiring harness.

Another option would be to use the 3.0 oil pan, 3.0 CPS.. This way you don't have to modify the harness.
Correct me if i'm wrong, but don't you have to grind a part of the 3.5 oil pan down in order to use the 3.5 CPS? (with a 3.0 flywheel)

I beleive if you use the 3.5 cps on the 3.5 pan you only have to modify the harness to fit the 3.5 cps, it's when you use the 3.0 cps that you have to grind down the pan, BUT the 3.5 pan is redisigned with TONS of additional bracing, I doubt nissan would have wasted alot of money on extra tooling and aluminum if there wasn't some sort of structural strength added to the block itself by having a beefier pan, besides, grinding down the pan is less work than swapping the pan, though I would have removed mine anyways because I wanted to do the oil-pan seal, the rear one was starting to leak oil the tiniest bit even with only 40k! just my two cents on that one.

Are the connectors definitly different, because before I shipped it out I plugged it into a 3.0 sensor that I had lieng around and it snapped right on perfectly, when comparing them side by side they looked to be slightly different though to were the 3.0 harness might not plug into the 3.5 cps, does the 3.0 harness definitly not plug into the 3.5 cps?

I'm in need of the 3.5 CPS plug so i can splice into the 3.0 sub harness. I already have the 3.5 pan and CPS installed and would be a hassle to remove and install the 3.0. I will have to check that the 3.0 plug dont plug into the 3.5, from the looks of it, it doesnt but I will check when i get home.
