3.5 Swap, what timing components do I use?

Before ya'll me for "not" searching, please know that I have tried searching using the "Free Search", I don't get good results with my search terms. Also, in the two stickied swap threads, there is no clear indication as to what parts from which engine end up in the final swap. My car has 203K miles, and my swap motor has 9800 miles. I don't want to put the consumable timing components from the VQ30 because they are so old. Also, I am under the impression that there needs to be a mix match of timing parts from both the VQ35 and 30. So, help me understand:

VQ30 Cam gears w/spacers UNDERSTOOD
VQ30 chain UNDERSTOOD
VQ30 water pump?
VQ30 or 35 chain guides?
VQ30 or 35 tensioners?

Thanks for the help!

I was under the impression that you were going to use the VQ35 ECU.

I WAS going to. That is why I did all that research previously. After seeing all the work needed to get the AC correctly inegrated, the wiring work, and the fact that I would need a Nissan consort to re-initialize the NATS key (I am missing the amplifier) it's just too much work. Besides, I doubt my AT would handle the full 255HP of a properly running VQ35. I need to get this car done sooner than later. However, the 3.5 ECU swap is only shelved for now, I can always go back to it later.

I re-read the swap threads, can't find any timing parts info, can you please help me?

THX

Slightly OT in this thread I suppose, but VQ30 cams + gears == spacers, and VQ35 cams + VQ30 gears == adapters or redrill?

water pump = vq30. the chain is double or triple linked and crazy looking for the vq35, while the vq30 chain looks like bike chain. so you need the pump that will fit on the chain.

chain guides = 3.0

inner tensioners can be either. outer tensioners need to be 3.0

ot - oh and this had been covered because i was asking the same questions before i did my swap lol.

i have a extra set of inner/outer covers along with chains and **** if you want them. i prolly have 90% of the parts you needa swap over if you dont want downtime. including the coolant hardpipes.

Yes. Except inner tensioners should be "secondary tensioners" and outer tensioner should be "primary tensioner". Just in case the original poster is/was confused by the terminology you used.
