Is 145 for a upper im from a 2001 a good price? Also is there anything ele i would need to buy to make the im work on my 97?

Check out the 00vi for dummies thread by Caesar. Look at everything he took off, and read around a bit more. It'll give you an idea.

 

Read the sticky thoroughly, until you understand pretty much every inch of it. THEN ask a question about it. reason being: Most if not all of your questions have been answered before.

 

yeah it's been answered a billion times, you need an assload of stuff besides just the UIM

 

And at the top of that list ought to be an IQ well above room temperature!
