Ive herd you can put the 5th gen oovi manifold bolted to the 4th gen lower?
is that true first of all? and if it is what parts do i need besides a rpm switch and the 5 gen tb?

hmmm seems tatanko's site is down. He had everything on the 00vi swap.

basically the easiest way is to use:

4th gen lower intake manifold
send it to stephenmax get it redrilled for the 5th gen upper
you will need all the necessary gaskets
5th gen TB or 4th gen TB
IACV block off and use the 4th gen
rpm switch
you need to use either the 5th gen valve cover and 5th gen coilpacks
or 4th gen valve cover, grind down 1 of the coil pack bosses and only use 1 bolt.

i think thats all, its not an extremely complicated swap, most of it is bolt on, no real custom work involved other then the LIM and iacv. which you buy premade.


if you use the 5th gen lower, you have to use the 5th gen injectors and then you gotta re-wire your injectors, you need the 5th gen clips, you need to get some additional fuel related fittings.

You will need to get it tuned though, the 5th gen injectors are bigger.
