yeah u just have to cut the injector wires on the harness for the dek and splice them into the de harness and other than that its pretty much direct drop in! and u have too re route sum vacumm lines and bs like that....yeah im doing the fidanza flywheel and a competition stage 4 clutch..should be making sum really nice power after i finish

Jesus, why would you get such an insane clutch...

Are you going to be pushing 400+ftlbs? Then just get a stage 1... you're going to rip your tranny apart.

I know it would be difficult to drive but how will it be hard on the tranny?

Dan bought S1 3.5 cams and made them fit in the dek motor.Trust me this is not a direct bolt on. You have to make them work because of the smaller buckets and higher lift of the cams.Plus the power he is making comes from lots and lots of studying, tuning, tweaking ,and some other little go fast goodies he has added.I don't mean to speak for Dan but going with the same set (AS I was doing until I decided to go with 3.5 swap) it takes more than throwing parts together on the 3.0 to make the kind of numbers he is seeing.Plus some VERY good driving just watch his vids.If you already have the motor apart I would just change out the dek intake cams for some regular 3.0 de intake cams since they have a little more duration .This is for the budget minded person because I'm sure you could pick up some used 3.0 cams relatively inexpensive and are a direct swap. Good luck either way you go.
