350z and FWD vq35 timing chain cover... the same?

just wondering if they are identical, my spare for my motor is cracked and i found a 350z for cheaper than car-part.

Thanks,

They look the same to me, but I would imagine the FWD covers would have the bolt holes for the right side motor mount, as well as the hole for the stud to stick through the cover. I can't imagine the Z using a front mount.

Just a guess, but I would have to say no.

There also appear to be a different number of bolt holes at the bottom right. Something water pump related or...?

Looks like right about where the AC compressor would be mounted (at least on a FWD, but I imagine the mounting locations are generally the same). Something to do with different bracket designs?

I figure it's probably some sort of accessory, anyway, that would be located differently FWD vs. RWD.

They're not the same, the accessories and pulleys etc are all routed/located differently.
