The "ultimate" tuning device.

I have sent countless e-mails to them, and a few others have sparked some interest as well.

Let's start a list of people interested.

EDIT: Forgot to say that the 5th gen has a different ECU than the 6th gen/350z/G35

6th gen
1.) !prjctmax!
2.) shawndon
3.) redls1
4.) anm6

5.5 gen
1.) VqMoNsTeR
2.) nismology

Still an interest none the less, so it should spark more of an interest for UpRev to actually start offering the program to the "Maxima" crowd.

If it's the fully tunable version, I'm interested as well. That's supposed to be released here soon.

Many of us 5.5gen members have tried to get their attention, they wont listen. Maybe there is more hope for the 6 th gen guys since your software packages are very similar.

Do you know what 'tuning with turbo' entails? If so, then read the link and see if the parameters that are desired when 'tuning turbos' are mentioned & modifiable.

^^EU + VQ35 ECU's don't mix so well. Erratic timing readings, burned coils, etc.

I don't see any mention of changing the cam timing on uprev's site. Guess TS F-spec is still the only cost-effective option for that.

Church's dyno in Ca has had great success with the Osris reflashes. They mentioned redoing someo of the cam timing curves to get more power. From what I've read, they have got decent gains ON TOP of gains done by TS.

If that's the case I'm pretty much sold. That was the only hangup.

That's good to know since I also have the TS full-spec flash... on wasting roughly $900 for it...long story
_______

Once money levels out, and I have all of my other priorities dealt with, I will probably take a "chance" with the program myself and see if it will work. I don't really see why it wouldn't since the programs are all pretty much the "same" and are used with the Titan, G35, 350Z, and SE-R...so why not the 6th gen?

Well you have to actually be at their facility. I'm not sure if you can ask UpRev to do an email reflash that has altered cam timing. Or find someone near you that's an UpRev dealer and is pretty experienced with dyno tuning the VQ35

Guy over at another site said

uprev does a great job tuneing for the nissan product. They will tune for are cars but need a test car from the Austin Texas area to get on there Dyno. They tuned my Titan and I gained almost 8 tenths 0 to 60 and about the same in the 1/4.After they have a tune all you have to do is mail in your ecu and your good to go.there prices are not bad either.Check out uprev .com

Guess it was only that easy. I asked if he really talked to someone and am waiting on an answer.

1) You don't have to mail in the ecu. You email THEM the data log and Uprev emails you a new flash. You then upload the new file into your ecu.
2) Tunability. See 1) There's talk about end user tunability but that's in the future. For now, it's a dealer only option.
3) It's NOT just a flash. You get the cipher OBDII diagnostics with it.

You guys need to go to UpRev's site and read.

This is pretty cool - I would really consider this but Houston has a really bad *** tuner dude which I want to see what he can push out of my max. I'm just waiting a few things to come in and cattman's headers.

sounds like cipher to me. IMO, uprev is too bigheaded to offer to the maximas, just my opinion from what ive seen on my350

Someone from the A34 crowd should try it and see. Couldn't be too difficult to sell if it doesn't work.

yeah, i think if you just told em you had a z (A34 people only obviously) and sent them the logs they would send you back your tune and nobody would be the wiser
