Bought 00vi parts, but IM nipples are broken. Need advice from 00vi experts

I went to junkyard and hassled for a 00vi setup but dude was being a douche bag. Its the only one i found around here with working VIAS.

Bought:
-Intake manifold w/working suction VIAS and electrical plugs
-Rear valve cover
-3 rear coil packs
-Egr Tubing

240$....even though it was partially broken he didnt want to give up the rear valve cover so i had to pay up.

Whats the best way to attack this?

ps: is this wrong section?

Broken nipple next to TB port and top of TB port.

Broken nipple on rear left side.

fixable?

Your going to have to buy some barb fittings and create new threads to screw them in.

With JB Weld. I got brass fittings from ACE Hardware online: 90° fittings, barbed on one end and threaded on the other end. Drill out and use a NPT tap to thread into the UIM.

This soft plastic doesnt need to be tapped. Just drill and use the threads on the barb fitting to get it in there.

The one in the very bottom of the picture is hat you want. Should work for the side of the manifold and top of the tb.

Are you sure there's enough meet on top of TB port for a 3/8? It looks like it will drill through the Gasket groove and only leave about 2mm of meat all around

So I bought this 01' throttle Body and apparently there was a miscommunication on what a entire 01' Throttle body comes with... so im left with this.
1a.

2a.

1a.The GOld cup thing has a sort of plunger and the Throttle brackets has a sort of hammer on it, is that sitting correctly or is it damaged?

2.a Theres a port there that holds 4 screws, im unware what that is for. Im guessing thats the IACV?(Comes with sensor plugs right, how much is that?)

it's missing the TPS and part of the IACV (the part that you're asking about w/ the 4 screws is the iacv). Hopefully it wasn't being advertised as including those parts. That plunger part is bent. If you plan to keep the TB instead of returning it you can bend it back yourself - bend the entire bracket until it's properly aligned. It should be perfectly in line with the hammer.

I fixed the broken plastic thingy with some epoxy but if you dont have the plastic thingy, I would probably buy some 3/8 brass fitting and just heat the spot with a torch on the UIM so the plastic melt a little bit and then just screw in the brass fitting.

Couple Critical Questions

There's so many various setups that I cant find one that specifies exactly what size parts you need so i figured i'd get the answers here. I keep getting diff. sizes from diff. people and they dont match up.

Official Setup
-00 Upper IM
-00 rear valve cover
-00 rear coil packs
-00 TB W/IACV block plate
-00 EGR
-4th gen IACV w/Adapter plate

Critical Questions:

Size Barbs/Threads, Angle/Straight (ex. 3/8 BARB/ 1/2 thread) nipples for:

1. 4th gen IACV Adapter plate (would this be the same size as the UIM top port pictured below in pic #3)
2. UIM left side port

3. UIM right side port (w/white dot)

Drill bit and Thread size:
-4th gen IACV plate holes for 4th gen IACV
-All the UIM holes I need to re-drill. (pictured above)

might be forgetting some stuff, will add later. But PLEASE be specific.

The port on top of the TB needs to be your EVAP hose. Use a 3/8 barb at 90*, you can do any size thread. 1/2 would work. Drill the hole to the appropriate size and screw the fitting in.

Port on the side of the TB should be your IACV hookup(4th gen IACV only). I would get another 90* fitting, and drill the END of the existing port(and plug the tiny thing if need be). Not sure on barb size, but thread size should be 3/8, but remember it must be smaller than the outer diameter of the tube.

I would try a 3/8 barb and 3/8(or 1/2) thread for the left of the manifold. Cut the existing broken one flush with the manifold, and use that existing hole to drill the appropriate size for the threads.

When I did my barb fitting, I just used incrementally larger bits until I got my barb to screw in tightly. I didnt use any sealant, teflon tape or anything, it screwed in(with a wrench) perfect.

Hope that helps.

You will get a code, and probably fail emmisions(no test here). How did you not run it? What did you do?

Any easier place to buy the IM gaskets I need besides Autozone/kragen/Pep boys?

Like an online store or something. I dont like the local auto part stores because I have to order them and some stores dont carry them all. Gaskets alone go up to like 22$...

Get on RockAuto.com RIGHT NOW. I just checked and they have the gaskets that go in between the lower manifold and the heads for $8. YES, $8! It's a wholesale closeout and there's only one left, jump on that. If you do happen to miss it, they have the Fel-Pro set (includes gasket between the two manifolds) for $4 more that's just as good of a deal, but includes the extra gasket.

These aren't cheapos, either, I got my brakes for retardedly cheap from there a couple months ago and they're OEM quality.
