95 Max need help with Vafc

Well i look at the write up followed it step by step and well idk. i got the Grey wire from the vafc to pin#23 and on the vafc its showing 100% the whole time and i spliced the MaF pin #54 to the vafc with the Yellow being closer to the ecu and it was like i didnt have no maf i coudnt rev past 2500rpms

Heres my layout:

Vafc1 ECU
Blue Pin # 50
ReD Pin # 67
Orange Pin # 67
White (closer to the ECU) Pin # 54
Yellow (closer to the ECU) Pin # 54
Grey Pin # 23
Green TAM Screw on the back of the cluster
Black Pin # 55
Brown (closer to the ECU) Pin # 55

I have the settings on 6cylinder tith the thr. going up

ok I am looking at the pin layout cheat sheet and why are you using pin 50 and 55

also what do you mean closer to the ecu when using pin 54

you need to cut the maf wire ([pin 54)and solder 1 end to the controller and take the other end and solder it to the other wire on the controller

always solder wires espeically when it deals with your ECU.... Not having good contact with a wire can lead to bad readings etc.

Ome of those isn't right, they can't both be closer to the ecu. Also, when you say spliced, do you mean intercepted/cut? It needs to be an intercept not a tap. IIRC the maf out wire goes closer to the ecu but I can't remember the colors off the top of my head.

the blue pin is on the 02 sensor
