Do you lock up your TC in 3rd gear under normal driving conditions? I noticed that with the TC locked in 3rd, if I let go of the gas, the RPMs drop. But in 4th gear, with the TC locked, if I let go of the gas, the RPM doesnt drop right away. Is the same thing happening to you?

What I've done is similar to what Jime did with his shift table and TC lockup. I have set mine up so that it goes 1>2, 2>3, lockup in 3rd, 3>4, lockup in 4th. I have it set up so that 4th kicks in at about 45mph and lockup in 4th happens at 55mph.

Well my TC is still being controlled by the TCM, it will lock once you go over 40mph no matter what gear your in i believe. for example if im manually shifting, and lets say im in 3rd and im cruising over 40mph it will lock it. I usually dont cruise on 3rd though, i use the manual mode for city driving, quick drives here and here, but cruising and highway. i just let the auto do its job.
