QUICK HELP! '08 3.5L

About to get another motor for my car and have access to a 3.5l motor out of a 2008 altima coupe and just curious to know will it bolt to my tranny and timing assembly?

Also, what gives it 270hp rather than the previous 255hp? The UIM looks a little different but not sure

It will bolt up just fine. Haven't heard of anyone using that engine for a swap yet. The plastic intake and VTC on the intake cams, along with the ECU are giving it the 270HP. You will probably be ditching all of that stuff however. A full ECU/wiring swap is the only way to retain that. A couple of people have done it with the A34 stuff. Lots of fabricating though.

Yea and i actually noticed on new 3.5l motor the CPS bolts up on the bottom of the motor/tranny and if you drill the opening a LITTLE bigger the sensor will be the perfect distance away from the flywheel and will be on a flat surface( the tranny and motor line up evenly)
