so i will be doing a 3.5 swap here within a few weeks. for the most part everything seems pretty straight foward. the problem i am having is the TB options.

I know all the options and what not but i would love to see how everyones setup looks like. Im thinking about drilling new holes from a DE-k tb but im still not sure. Im just kinda sceptical about making my own bracket for the tps(I dont have that much metals experince) Plus ive heard that issues may arrive with a flimsy tps support.

So if you have any pictures of your TB setup would you please post them and share. I just want to brainstorm on how i wil do my set-up.

Did you use the cable bracket off the 4th gen and put it on top of a plate like thing.

Also how hard is it to make a homemade adapter plate vs re drilling holes.

lol yeah i know. One day i pretty much was cruzing car-part.com while i was talking to my brother and found a vq35 for $350. and i was like wow thats a steal right. So he was like ill send you the money for the 3.5. I thought he was kidding at first but sure enough he sent me it. So i wound up getting a 3.5 for 300 dollars with 73k on it

now i just need the damn cam adapters lol

Kinda similar of what i want to do. Just with the de-k tb so i can keep cc. cause man im a lazy **** on the freeway and cc is like my insurance to make sure i dont speed lol.

I just dont know how far off ill be when i redrill the holes. Ill probley find out this week when i take off the upper and take my 5th gen tb out

ok so i might try and go with the 5.5 gen tb with a mounting bracket. Yes im on a budget.......

Ive seen plenty of them in different post but i know i havent seen all of them. so if any of yall have a 5.5 tb w\moddified homemade bracket please post up some pics.
