Wanting to catch up on regular maintenance.
OK, so... I've been slacking off under the hood.
I am just curious of what all I need to do to be "caught" up.
I almost posted this thread in the Detailing section, but I'm concerned more about the performance of my engine.
I'm thinking a SeaFoam treatment, new spark plugs...what else? is there an easy way to check for clogs, like in the EGR, and is there anything else that can clog?
&& btw, how do I do a seafoam treatment? nvm, i'll search.
BASICALLY, i want to get my car back to "new car" status under the hood. What all is needed?

You can pour seafoam in the gas tank to clean out injectors. You can suck into the intake manifold through the brake booster line to clean carbon buildup on the valves and pistons.
As far as maintenance goes you can change the plugs, clean the TB and IACV, check/replace tranny fluid, check/replace coolant, check for codes because you might have a ghost code for the knock sensor. Using the search will answer a lot of your questions.
