compression test on 3.5

did my compression and this was my result what do you guys think. I wasnt getting any spark so I think that my crank pos sensor needs to be moved a little closer to the flywheel
starting at cylender 1 and working my way from left to right
test 1
-225 -190 -230
-200 -180 -200
test 2
-220-210-230
-210 -195 -180

from FSM...

Unit: kPa (kg/cm2, psi)/rpm

Standard compression
1,275 (13.0, 185)/300

Minimum compession
981 (10.0, 142)/300

Difference limit between cylinders
98 (1.0, 14)/300

11. If compression in one or more cylinders is low:
a. Pour a small amount of engine oil into cylinders through spark
plug holes.
b. Retest compression.
If adding oil helps compression, piston rings may be worn
or damaged. If so, replace piston rings after checking piston.
If pressure stays low, a valve may be sticking or seating
improperly. Inspect and repair valve and valve seat. (Refer
to SDS, EM-82 and EM-85.) If valve or valve seat is damaged
excessively, replace them.
If compression stays low in two cylinders that are next to
each other:
a) The cylinder head gasket may be leaking, or
b) Both cylinders may have valve component damage. Inspect
and repair as necessary.

I think the numbers look ok. The numbers are a little high, which could be due to carbon buildup. That could be due to your worn out plugs or other combustion issues from the engine before you got it. I think you should figure out how to measure for the crank position sensor depth and move it a little closer. I think mine looks closer than yours does. Change the plugs and try it again.

Those numbers look great. I wish my numbers were that good. I'm only at 180 for all cylinders.
