Cams
3.0 stock cams vs the 3.5 stockers
Is there that much of a gain?
I hear of alot of ppl doing it
Is there a lil lope at idile ?
Guess what I am asking is labor vs the over all HP gain is it worth it in the long run ?
I have a stock 95 SE think of throwing in a set of stock 3.5 cams and maybe boost later.
Would the cams do good under boost ?

There are gains to be had. I dont think we have a literal dyno of the differences however.
AFAIK, there will be no lope.
If you are tearing the heads apart already, then its not a bad thing to do. Or if you do the install all yourself, and save most of the money.
Not as familiar with the specs vs boosting.

u'll have a gain, but like he said, no one has actually done a before and after dyno for the stock 3.5 cams on a 3.0.
Will you get a lope? no. If these cams made a loppy idle, all 3.5s would lope. I had S1 knock off cams and it BARELY lopped once warmed up on a 900rpm idle.
Cost benefit? well, dont expect 30whp out of them lol. I wouldnt bother going through all that work for stock 3.5 cams though. To me the S1 cams are a damn good upgrade from the stock 3.0 cams to make it worthwhile.
Even the S1 cams are mild enough to work fine with boost. Stock 3.5 cams are fine as well. Ultimately you'd want a cam with no overlap for a full FI setup, but realistically that wont happen due to cost effectiveness lol
