That is, by a manufacturer.
I haven't seen anything of course.
As long as we're on the subject, anybody know of any marine retrofits?

I know my gramps pontoon has a nissan motor 4 stroke(not a vq) The thing is so quite it feels like a trolling motor.

If your intrested in retrofitting a outboard i will have a spare vq i could pretty much just give away. I Although i would not be much of help cause im not really good at retrofitting stuff.(lack of experince)

^^^That is exactly why I thought of it.
Although it should be pointed out that if that Ford engine is the 300 straight six, well, that engine is ****ing bulletproof.

I just asked my cousins BF and he said that his is only a 4, I thought it was a 6. That being said, I asked if he wanted to drop a VQ in it... He liked the idea.

Easy to work on, too, especially in a truck. Take a seat in the engine bay, get to wrenching. Only takes ~15 minutes or so to get the head off of one of those things...takes twice as long to lug the heavy POS around the shop.

Yep. AND that engine will do 300,000 miles like nothing.
