finishing up my 5.5gen into 240sx swap.. need little help on things
Hey guys I'm sure most of you know that I'm doing a vq35de swap into my 240sx well last night we started it up and it idles.. but I need help with the vacuum lines but i'm using a 350z intake manifold.
I also need help plumbing up the evap canister but i'm going to be using the one off the 240sx so i just want to route the evap solenoid to the 240sx's canister. so if anyone can post a diagram of where the lines go i would be very happy.
also for some reason my tachometer isn't working but it starts and idles fine we are going to double/triple check all the wires to it.
and its throwing a throttle/pedal circuit code. we tested everything but it looks like the pedal might be the problem.

Does it take a while to start up? Between that and the tach, it would be the CKPS POS. Make sure it's aligned correctly. Did you use a FWD or RWD flywheel? Did you align it properly?
There are extensive vacuum line routing diagrams in the FSM, have you checked them?
What is the problem with the EVAP? Line from solenoid valve to canister, line from solenoid valve to UIM.

it does take a couple seconds to start but it does start and idle. and the ecu reads the rpms but it doesn't display to the tach.
I have looked up the EVAP solenoid plumbing in the fsm and I figured A goes to the intake and B goes to the the canister itself.. but does it go to A or B on the canister?

Well did you look at the FSM for your 240? That'll tell you which port on the charcoal canister to use...
But again, since you neglected to tell us what year 240, I'll just say a '98. In that case, port B.

well been busy with other crap and got the evap all sorted out
and the slow start, it was the CKPS, which also fixed the tach
then i thought i lost spark on 2 cyl, turned out the fpr just took a dump
replaced with another fpr and got spark on all 6, starts quick as hell too now. FPR with vacuum is 51psi? or 31psi? have an adjustable one now
just now its got a freakin p2138 code and we went through all the steps in the manual and everything is exactly what it should be. the symptoms are you can tap the throttle multiple times and it will rev fine, but if ease into the throttle, or taptaptap full it just goes into limp mode. could the bcm be faulty or the ecu be faulty? the pedal and throttle were both switched into a 03 Z and worked correctly there. all the voltage readings for the wires are exactly where they should be. I already replaced the pedal from my original post since that one was faulty.
