I'll be using this as my progress thread from now on.

It was never broken, I had way too many assumptions when I installed it.

MOHFPro is going to be making a patch harness for me and do it PnP style.

UPDATE: PnP is completed. Should be here Monday.

Teaser pic.

Big ups to MOHFPro for dealing with me while building it for me. Updates to come.

Update.

Hooked up MOHF's PnP harness and redid all the jumper settings before installation.

Car cranks but doesn't fire. Dash lights stay on after I pull the key out of the car. (Injector circuit is staying on this entire time)

I think the connectors on the EU themselves are screwed, MOHF checked the wiring at least 3x, the injector ground is grounded appropriately along with the inputs/outputs.

Had the same issue when I installed an EU into a 2k and the wiring was checked and rechecked a few times. Dash lights stayed on with ignition switch off. Seemed to go away by itself. Car had starting issues that were totally unrelated to the EU. When those were ironed out the car started up like stock.

As for your starting issue, did you export the data?

Yes, I had a basemap with all the parameters off of an '00 Max exported.

It'll read my TPS voltages and stuff correctly, it just won't start.

I've eliminated almost every variable here. The EU works, I had a PnP made and the wiring is right, jumpers are right...I might just say screw it and get some new connectors on the EU soldered on.

Is there a chance that they might be damaged and something isn't making continuity with the EU itself?

Update.

So MOHF and I determined the input/output wires were switched around.

No big deal here, I'm sending it back tomorrow.

We came to an agreement, Ill be paying for return shipping. Sucks this had to happen, my fault. The way I checked for continuity through each of the taps/intercepts didnt pick this up because I shorted the EU input/output connectors.

Do it. Dude. EU kicks ***.

I'd like to point out how well MOHFPro handled the situation. If you have the chance to do business with him then you'll definitely won't be sorry.

And yes the EU kicks *** as long as you can get it working without a 3 page thread.
