Fidanza Flywheel

I bought a used flywheel from my friend and he had it in a 4th gen with a 6spd swap. He modified the 3.5 ring on the back of the flywheel (engine side) to use on 3.0 timing.

Now my question is, the timing ring from the OEM flywheel is it removable? Can i take it off the OEM flywheel and assemble it to the fidanza? Or do i have to call fidanza and order the replacement part for the flywheel?

All inputs are appreciated.

Is the ring on the fidanza removable? I know the ring on the stock flywheel isnt necessarily "removable", but im sure it can be removed and fixed to the fidanza, its riveted to the stock flywheel though

I took the timing ring off my original flywheel and installed it on the fidanza. It fit fine, better than the flywheel fit on the crankshaft for sure.

I think if you are using the 3.0 timing, you will need the timing ring off the original oem flywheel. I am using 5sp tranny with 3.5 block, 3.0 timing. When I got my fidanza flywheel, it had no slip ring.

i would assume since hes a 5.5gen that he would want to remove the ring from the 3.5 flywheel and put it on the fidanza
