3.5 swap complete. getting MAP/BARO code
Just finished swapping in an 06 3.5 in my 98 and took the car out for a test drive.. everything sounds nice now that the fluids have had time to work their way into each respective system. Only code Im getting is 1302; the MAP/BARO solenoid. Im guessing I just need to go over all my vacuum lines again.
The car runs a 10.5 A/F going into WOT
I think bringing down the base fuel pressure should alleviate this some.
I havent fully gotten onto it yet bc of that but I can already feel the torque difference over the 3.0 at minimal throttle. I will be tuning with an EU in the near future.
Another question i have is I tapped my iacv and evap together via a T off the manifold... is this acceptable?
Only other issue is a leaking noise coming from the headers on the front bank
I torqued the bolts to about 90 ft-lbs and there are gaskets in there... maybe they need replacing? Either way its gonna be a major PITA now that the radiator is back in.
Thanks for any help,
Grant

I had got the same code in my car a while back. It ended up being a bad connection, the reference wire going back to the ecu had been corroded and lost its connection. If you aren't to sure where the MAP/BARO sensor is, it is the sensor that bolts to the top of the "ram" air part of the intake. I think that would make your car run rich because it is not sure if it is at sea level or 3000ft above sea level. Hope this helps.
Good luck.
Good luck.

Grant,
Good job on the swap. Did you and George do this? I ask because I am getting ready to start my swap, and I wanted to know if you guys swaped all the timing components. Can you PM me your number so I can call you if I have questions. Thanks.
