wait, have you finished all your bolt ons??? the way i see it ...cams are one of the last steps on a N/A maxima....or maybe you should post your parts list first and will go from there.....

long story short ,you will need HR springs and a rev up oil pump and raise your limiter to enjoy the top end power, and will only feel good if you have done all of the good bolt ons (SSIM,3" exhaust,BB maf and a tune)

well so far i have a custom im, and 2.5 exhaust......but i have my car in the shop, so when i pull out my engine i wanna do some more work to it like headers, custom y pipe, custom 3inch......new clutch and lw flywheel. after all that im going with 3.5 intake with intergrated maf housing. but i guess ill work that stuff into my budget.

Extended rev limiter is a must
HR valve springs and double shims are suggested
Supporting mods: Headers are also a must, larger MAF housing is a must, SSIM should be a must.

This may sound like a silly queston, but would it be worth it just to swap in a motor from a rev-up ?

Or is it to much work ?

Instead of messing with the cams and etc...

You might want to add some ARP rod bolts in as well if you are going to raise rev limiter.
