Request from 00vi Drivers

I need you to warm up your car, turn it off, unplug your TPS (brown connector), turn car back on, and report your base idle as it is right now.

Just seeing where I stand with my 1300rpm base idle and not being able to figure it out despite numerous gaskets and vacuum tests and new IACV parts.

Please and thank you.

1300 rpm idle isn't that bad. Try dealing with a problem where sometimes it idles at 3000 rpm and sometimes not at all, despite having replaced a MAF 3 times, O2 sensors, and ECU.

Which IACV are you using? The 00 IACV kinda sucks with the A32 ECU

^^^^^^ I beg to differ. Only in few max's (why? I don't know) but a few, including me, have used the 00vi iacv and worked flawlessly.

If you remove the IACV from the body and cycle the ignition from off to on, you should see the plunger on the valve move in and out. What ID tubing are you using to and from your remotely mounted IACV?

5th or 4th iacv? That's weird, mine just stays open at 1300+
