Doesn't this HR camshaft look timed correctly I took my heads with the DE cams to local machinist and when I got them back, they had been cleaned so that all the paint marks from factory were washed off..all the lobes match the redrilled DE cam, but the HR cam wasn't redrilled. Unless the machinist swapped the cams that I brought in with other cams that he already had I don't know. Can I install these as they are?

Since noone is answering the first question, can someone answer me this:
Are the Revup Cams' dowels located roughly the same place as the HR cams' dowels? The HR cams that I have appear total opposite of the DE cams, kind of like they have the 3.0 dowel location?

I would have to agree with you.
It looks like the HR dowel position is the same as the 3.0.
Fwiw, the way most of the hybrid 3.5 swap cams are drilled is by matching up the cam lobes and drilling.

Edit-
I would also take a set of calipers to verify the HR cam base circles and lift.

thanks...around 10.44-10.49mm so these look to be HR cams. so no need to redrill these then? Is this the way the HR is supposed to be? McSteve has those revup cams for sale w/sm spacers, I was under the impression the HR and revup cams dowels were drilled sorta the same...
