DEK + 6MT Swap

On a side note, that sentra on the side, if its a 5-speed, even with the stock 1.6 motor, can aslo turn into a fun car. That sentra literally is a little maxima. I had a 98 5 speed sentra. got myself GA16DE headers (the computer did not even notice the cat converter delete...YES!) Those headers really woke up that motor. I wasn't so jealous of the SR20DE sentras so much after that.

Pretty interesting, the VI opened makes me go hrmmm when I'm getting on it for 's, also it keeps me well behaved on the streets because of the non existent tq.
But in the end, I need to put on my power rod deleted 00VI, I could use the extra ponies to get outta 3rd gear faster, and maybe I'll regain some power in the midrange.
Also I got a few maintenance things to take care of, hopefully that'll make 2nd to 3rd clean and 3rd to 4th cleaner
It's certainly weird having the car bounce off of redline so easily, that's for sure and I can't catch the 1st->2nd shift fast enough w/o bouncing off the redline.
Sidenote: W/ the 6MT the lowest RPM in the powerband is 4.6k, so only 400rpm of bogginess w/ an open VI.

There's that bog from the 2nd to 3rd when it's @ 4600 to 5k
and that 3rd to 4th has a slight hiccup, I'm thinking the power rod removal will restore some lost power there and then I'd be pretty happy w/ the results.

Lame 14.80 @ 92.2
Oddly it is faster than the red car still, the DEK is what I thought it always was, just a top end highway motor, nothing useful for le track or any type of legal racing.
Fidanza LW
04 Altima 3.5 5mt starter.

Realize? Utilize maybe?
Because it works?
Any 3.5L Manual starter will work on the 6mt... Something I also mentioned in my 6mt swap thread... Matter of fact...

Spoon feeding? Seriously? Just asked a simple question on how you arrived on an Altima starter. Im having trouble with my VQ30/z33 6spd into my s14. A 3.5 flywheel has a different type of crank position sensor ring gear and running a 3.0 flywheel would require a bunch of custom spacers. Did a google search on other options and came across your thread with zero info and help. If you want to start a thread on a project and keep all details of operation to yourself, so be it. Dont have to be a d!ck about it.
