Emanage Blue Capabilities????
Good Day,
was seeking assistance in trying to figure out a choice for tuning my vq30 using de-k 00vi, 350z hr cams and altima header with custom down pipe,
whether to use emanage blue(which i own) or go out and purchase a greddy ultimate?
when reading through dandymax's emanage ultimate writeup he suggests that its through the injection map that he extends the rev limit(not the rev cut feature), i figure i can do this with the greddy blue as well, also he wrote up about using resistors for the ignition coil through the greddy ignition circuit loom. just wanted to know if this was also necessary for the blue box or if I'ld have to go out and buy a ultimate?

You can get more out of the ultimate since you are all motor, you can sell the blue. If you decide to keep the blue you can put diodes on the ignition harness wires to prevent the coil from burning up, but there should have been a fix in one of the software updates. I installed them regardless just to make sure.

Somewhere down the line I'ld like to go 3.5 or if pushed forced induction, thing is the wife isn't working at the moment so I have to be thrifty, so was just trying to see if the greddy blue could carry me past the stock rev limit so as to use up the 00vi and the hr cams.

@maxgtr2000 I realize the Greddy blue uses 1 signal wire per injector and ignition coil which i figure we tap/splice, while the ultimate uses 2 wires - input and output which it requires intercepting the loom, do you think this is what gives the ultimate a edge in altering the ecu signals, or in your case you are fully capable of altering timing and ignition maps
i.e. advancing and retarding timing, as well as turning injectors on after ecu cut?
