Help! Stuck with: P0335 P0340 P0345

My 3 favorite codes to have on a 3.5

I've been stuck running around in circles on my 07 altima + 6mt swap into my I35.

This is what I've checked to far.

I've checked each individual cam sensor, the out put resistance is correct when it's near or away from metal.

I've checked that they're getting the proper 5V power source.

I've checked the same on the signal inverter, everything up to that point is working correctly leading to the ECU.

What I have not been able to check yet is getting a scope on the signals at the ECU to see if the ECU is seeing the right signals (or signals at all!)

I do have two ecu's and both of them get the same exact codes (except the auto ECU has 5 codes, 2 tranny codes).

I have checked the same on the crank sensor, it's seeing battery voltage, and the signal wire changes properly w/ or w/o metal contact.

I am using a 350z flywheel which has been clocked over one bolt over for FWD timing purposes and I have modified the housing to move the crank sensor over considerablly, so it lines right up with the trigger teeth on the flywheel (may continue moving it over a few more mms).

Anyways, any other ideas on this one? I'm having a helluva time finding an oscilloscope to borrow in Houston, but until that happens anyone have any ideas on what to test/check??

I'm going on a grounding adventure tonight, but that's it, i'm out of ideas really.

so take the plug out of the ecu. test the cam signals there. by taking sensor out. keep plugged up and put metal to it.

with nothing at sensor .04v with metal at sensor (magnetic) 4.58v or so. lmk if thats what you get AT the ecu.

posted here to keep better track on whats going on.

reply here with results.

Pin 95 (crank signal) works just fine.

As for them thar pins 85 and 65.... Le sigh...

Pin 85 (Cam sensor Bank 2 irrc?) is stuck @ 4.6v, won't change no matter what.

Pin 65 (Cam sensor bank 1 iirc?) is stuck @ .04v, won't change no matter what.

Also the wiring is pretty figity (wiggle it voltage changes), so I'm going to get moar pigtails for the cam sensors (the ones actually meant for them) and try again later.

This is where I failed.

Only had to switch yours because of le 3.5 injectors, I didn't have pigtails on hand atm to wire into your stock harness.

Thus we had to switch the donor car's and then play some fooly mcgooly with the EFI harness->Engine room harness connector... and so on and so on.

Did I mention I hate wiring? This now goes above timing VQ's

No no no.
Just have a running swapped 5.5 with 3.0 timing that had wiring issues from an, IMO not so smart previous owner.
He liked to "cut corners" and I ended up with the hot mess of his harness.
Cut corners=springs, paint, and other things I'm sure I'm forgetting ATM.

Now Aackshun can have his thread back.
