VQ35 swap with 4th gen ecu - a discovery?

So, I thought I would share something that I found quite interesting.

The VQ25DD from the A33 Cefiro uses the same cvtc pulley as the pathfinder and has the same timing setup with the cam sensor mounted on the front of the timing chain cover. From what I can see, the rest of the timing cover is pretty much identical to the VQ30 - which means you wouldn't have any alternator, powersteering, engine mount issues if you attached it to a vq35. Below is two pictures from FAST that I've overlayed in different colours to identify the differences. Cyan = VQ25DD, Magenta = VQ30DE, White = matching

So, I have a couple of questions -
Did anyone ever get the pathfinder timing gear to work with the vq30 ecu?
Will the maxima/350z camshafts work with the pathfinder timing gear?
Would anyone happen to know the cam specs of the VQ25DD?
Does the pathfinder have the same oil passages as the maxima (for cvtc)?

13501-2Y500 is the part number for the outside timing cover

Also, does anyone have any pictures of the pathfinder CVTC gear?

I found some pictures - probably from someone around here?

You can see the signal plate for the cam sensor. I wonder if it would be possible to attach the signal plate to the vq35 cam gear, then use the vq25dd timing covers and a customised arduino to control it.

Yeah I've heard about this from a guy named Ben at JWT. I wannted to upgrade the ECU and this was one of the things he had motioned. It seems to have a litter bit of work involved and wasn't sure if that was something I wanted to tackle. Let me know what else you hear about it.
