I was going to make the 3.5 system into a return by removing one of the regulators

Any reason for that? Not sure what your plans are, but in this day and age, there are a lot more options than there used to be and fuel management is also one that will depend on set-up.

Depends on your plans and budget.

Daily driver for now, later a turbo build.forgot to mention its on a 99 build.
