EMU 2-Step Help

I followed DandyMax's guide for setting up the 2-step feature and I verified I'm seeing a VSS input but I cannot get it to work.

Throttle Position box - tried various 50-70%
# of V.S.S. pulse box - 2
Start RPM - tried various RPMs 2k-5k
IGN Adjustement - tried -15 and -20
**Checked the box next to Start RPM cell

The engine will just rev past the start rpm set point even though I'm at 0 VSS pulse and past the tps threshold.

Any ideas on why it's not working?

How quickly are you pressing on the gas pedal? I had issues getting mine to work unless I pretty much stomped on the gas pedal.

That was it!

I guess I was easing into it before. It works fine if I mash it.

Thanks!

No problem. On that note, another issue I found when using the EU's 2-step is with the VSS pulse setting. This entirely depends on what you have yours set at, but it took me months to track down. When I had the 2-step activated and attempted to take off hard without engaging the 2-step, power would still be cut until the EU received the set amount of VSS pulses before applying power again. Which ultimately resulted in frustration and unnecessary wheel spin.

I think mine was set at 10 when I was having that issue. With yours set at 2, I don't think you will have any issues with it. Just something to keep in mind.
