Question Spun rod bearing in my VQ35. Can we use the crank in rebuild?

So we spun out a rod bearing on our 2002 Maxima, (which we endurance race). And I am looking for some advice on what to do at this point.

The bearing on #2 got so hot that it looks like it started to melt down the sides of the connecting rod and flake out as thin metal shavings in the bottom of the oil pan. The connecting rod has surface damage that you can touch and feel. The crank has some heat discoloration and while it seems to have some damage or grooves on the surface, it is very hard to see or feel.

So do you think we are able to re-use our crankshaft? Because I was reading how these cranks are stamped with the block. So replacing it might not be as simple as like I've done on V8 rebuilds.

Note, it was really hard to pull out the bearing, but we took great care to not hit the crank when we removed it.

Thanks!

#2 is where the failed bearing was.

If you wanted to you can have the crankshaft measured machined and then run a oversized bearing.
