takin my subs and amp out just for a couple days, is it ok to have the live wires layin around like that? should i put electric tape on them?

You can tape each lead separate from each other if you intend on leaving the amp that powered the subs still powered up

OR

You can pull the fuse to the amp the leads come from. You don't want an amp powered up with no load and the possibility of the leads shorting out.

just put some electric tape at the ends so you dont blow the fuse on the amp

 

I just pull the fuse that is under my hood, and no worries

 

i'm goin to take the amp out too, its mounted on my box. So just tapin the wires is ok?
