5speed_I30T

Hi everyone,
I am a newbie on the org. I was wondering if you guys could share your wisdom on my stereo issue. I have a 5 speed I30T. It has the Bose system. I know the Bose is tough to modify/add additional equipment to, so I plan to swap out the whole system by adding a MP3 deck, component speakers upfront, 6 1/2 in the back, two amps, and a sub. I don't need to rattle my neighbor's windows, but just to get some clean bumpin' music. I went to a shop called Mark's autosound in Temple City, CA, the shop quoted me 600 bucks just for two amp installations. Needless to say, I think that is way overpriced even though the shop does quality work.

My questions are:

1. What would be a reasonable price for a quality job for all those things listed above?

2. Where can I get that done?

3. Any place you guys recommend to get the equipment around LA?
