this question might have been asked before but i couldn't find it in the search... anyway. I am installing an amp to power a subwoofer, to a 2k2 with bose. I want to disconect the bose sub and connect the speaker wire to the amp. Do I need a special adapter, if not whitch to to wire to I plug into the amp. Thanks in advance

I wouldn't do that. Disconnecting the sub is ok, but don't use it's signal to power your aftermarket sub. See other threads that I wrote about this. Search by my UserID if you have to. I've written about this many times over.
