another amp mounting question
another amp mounting question
I want to attempt to make my system pretty.
Before, I always just screwed my amps to the back of my box, and didn't worry about it. I just ordered a brand new new subwoofer box, and I don't want to make extra holes in it. I was thinking of mounting my amp in front of the box . What is a fairly simple, do it yourself method of doing this. I would like to have it sort of flush with the floor with maybee some plexiglass. Any comments are appreciated.

Well here is somthing, I think this is what your looking for:
Take a piece of wood mount it to the floor, then mount the amps to it, then make some supports/risers that you can sit another piece of wood on that is about the same size as the amps, then wrap that piece of wood in somthing (tweed, viynal etc) and put it down and boom you got the amps flush. Of course this all will run from the box to the side panels, I know it's real generic, but I hope it gets you going.
