CD cassette adapter?
CD cassette adapter?
why won't my cd cassette adapter work in my non-bose 96 maxima? it just switches sides twice then spits the tape back out. i really don't have money for a new radio and i just want hook up a cd player. is there any special cassette adapter i should use?
I have the exact same problem. Only mine is a 2001 Maxima with a bose system. It just trys to read the adapter a couple times then spits it back out.
The cassette player by itself works. I dug up a couple of old tapes and they played fine... btw, I have Sony CPA-9C model if that makes a difference. I was told it was good.
GAH! Any help?

my cd player recently stopped working, and i am now using a cd casset player like this... mines kept spitting the tape out also, until i finaaly figured out to push the tape in and press play on the radio... maybe this could be the problem.
Why not get a RF adapter that will take a linelevel input from a portable CD player/MP3 player?
