new project Better Sound

I'm looking into building my own box for my these subs I purchased. I know its not hard buy I don't want to pay anyone to install them. I've never had a chance to attempt this project cause my cars don't last long. Anyone know what materials I need and the process or at least the website I need to go to to?

It's not hard at all - I built 2 boxes when I was still in high school...I would've done more (for myself and for friends) but I haven't had time since going to college... Just plan it out well and you'll be fine. You need to know what kind of air volume each sub needs. Also, obviously make sure it'll fit where you want it to.
Use 3/4" MDF, wood glue, and wood screws for the construction (all available at Home Depot, etc). I usually drill a pilot hole for each screw just to be extra safe to prevent cracking of the MDF.
Try the forums at www.sounddomain.com for any bigtime audio questions... Good luck!
